a few of my favourite things: music videos

To say music is important to me is an understatement. I don’t have a flash sound system or a background soundtrack playing 24-7. In fact, as a mother, kindergarten teacher and avowed introvert, I probably value silence even more than sound. Yet music absolutely occupies a prime position in my life. When an amazing track merges with a brilliant music video, the aural + visual combination blows my mind.

Here, in no particular order, are 10 music videos that captivated me. Some are old, some are new. They all grabbed me and didn’t let go, as did the tracks they represent. Cast these to your tv if you can. The Run The Jewels track is NSFW, just a heads up.
